Payments
Can we please remind all our clients that Cheques should be made payable
to Monach Farm Enterprises or be left blank for us to stamp.
Also due to increasing bank charges from the 1st January we will no longer
accept cheques for £14 as we have to pay 75p for each cheque we
bank. If you are paying for single lessons please bring cash or pay for
2 lessons at a time (£28) or make your cheque for £14.75.
If you are riding every week take advantage of our block booking, a month
at a time for £52.00.
ANGELS ON HORSEBACK
We have managed to secure insurance for little people who wish to ride.
15 minute lead rein rides either around our fields or in an arena. These
cost £10 and are available to all children aged 3 and above. They
are an ideal introduction to riding.
Winter Riding
We know it is cold but we are continuing to teach, the ponies still need
their daily exercise.
Please make sure you layer up and invest in some lightweight waterproofs.
Gloves are a must and we have some you can buy in the office (£3
a pair). Our jumpers & fleeces make excellent layers & we should
have new stock in by the end of the month if your size is not in the box.
We have lights in both arenas so you can still continue with your evening
lessons. There are also lights for the car park and drive so you can see
to get from your car to the stables.
Meat & Cheese
Don’t forget as a farm we produce our own meat so as winter comes
in and those Sunday roast are back on the menu we can supply your beef
pork or lamb, all naturally reared and local good for your tummy and the
planet – it tastes good too. All our meat is sold Frozen, you can
buy as little or as much as you need sausages, mince, casserole meat,
joints or a months supply.
For the cheese fans out there we are now making our own soft goats cheese
– plain, garlic or chive flavoured. Available in 100g logs for £1.95
we have some samples in the office for you to try.
PONY CLUB
Pony Club returns on 12th September and every other week thereafter.
We meet at 3pm and finish at 5pm (shopping opportunities!). We have
Pony Club days on Thursdays in the holidays as well. All children
from 3 - 16 welcome to join.
What do we do?
Have a lot of fun- such riding bareback, playing games, grooming ponies,
earning achievement badges and working through our Pony Club Riding
levels. This does not replace your usual riding lessons instead it enhances
your riding and knowledge of horses. You do not have to attend every
session and only pay for those you come to - £15 per session
ADULT RIDERS CLUB
Why should the kids have all the fun? We meet on alternate Sundays 3-5pm.
As with pony club it’s a chance to learn more about horses and
have a go at things you did or wanted to do as a child. We still love
getting rosettes in gymkhanas!! As well as the meetings here at the
yard, we aim to go out and about for social evenings and to equestrian
events throughout the year. The Adult Riders Club is open to anyone
over 18yrs and at any level of riding. . Please see poster in office
for details or ask Liz for more info.
